Facing Assumptions
The Unity Center at the California Museum celebrates the state’s diverse people, customs and cultures.
We produced an interactive exhibit entitled Facing Assumptions where visitors are immersed in conversations between members of marginalized groups including African American Women, Latino Immigrants, Transgender/Gender Non-Conforming Youth, Parents with Disabilities, and Muslim Youth who share deeply personal experiences facing common stereotypes and misconceptions.
